About Me

I’m a journalist currently based in Columbia, Missouri. I’m Catholic and my faith informs and influences everything in my life. I’m currently a videographer for Catholic News Agency in Washington D.C. I most recently worked as an assistant producer and news anchor for KBIA, mid-Missouri’s National Public Radio affiliate station, and as videographer for the Global Programs office at the Missouri School of Journalism, where I’m also pursuing a Master’s Degree. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication with a minor in Film Studies from Truman State University.

I’m an experienced videographer and enjoy working with cameras and editing software of all kinds. I have experience writing news, features, and editorials for print, television, radio, and online. I’m particularly interested in documentary filmmaking and video production, as well as radio reporting and anchoring.

My academic interests include film studies and media criticism, religion, science and technology, and history.

For fun I love to play tennis and other sports, read books, and most of all travel and explore.
